The city will host and sponsor events leading up to and on Hip Hop’s actual birthdate (August 11, 2023) in commemoration of Atlanta-based rappers, musicians, and creatives from over the past 50 years.

The City of Atlanta and Sprite have team up with Hip Hop Icons to create a unique experience celebrating the genre-blending culture. The concert will also serve as celebration wrap up party for the Summer Youth Employment Program.
